Igbo Eze North Cervical Cancer Awareness and Medical Outreach in Igogoro

Home - Blog Detail

On Day Three of the Igbo Eze North Cervical Cancer Awareness/Medical Outreach, spearheaded by the Domitilla Foundation for Women Empowerment, the team brought free healthcare services, screenings, and vital education to the Igogoro community. The focus was on cervical cancer prevention and early detection, with health professionals offering personalized advice and addressing individual concerns.

Beyond cervical cancer awareness, the outreach also addressed general health needs, providing essential medications such as anti-malaria, anti-typhoid, anti-hypertensive, anti-ulcer drugs, antibiotics, and multivitamins to enhance the well-being of Igogoro residents.

Community turnout was impressive, with residents expressing gratitude and calling for more programs like this to be sponsored by leaders and individuals, following the example of Hon. Michael Uche Ogalla and Hon. Abah Joe Idenyi.
